MORE GENEVA MOTOR SHOW @ INSIDELINE.COM: www.edmunds.com Alfa Romeo has released the first images and details of the mito GTA, which is set to debut at the 2009 Geneva Auto Show. The mito GTA is a lightweight, high-performance edition of Alfa’s latest compact, featuring carbon-fiber body parts and extensive application of aluminum under the skin in such areas as brakes and suspension. The mito GTA is powered by a new turbocharged, direct-injection 1.7-liter four-cylinder engine that delivers 240 horsepower. The car has been lowered by 0.8 inch, and the suspension has been reworked with new front geometry, new rear bushings and adjustable shocks.

The Dakar Rally comes to an end in a unique location, the Aptera, all-electric car may be ready for the prime-time, and some more electric fun may be coming from mclarens ex designer Jim Dowle, and could a new Alfa Romeo Junior model be coming?
